TEREA, Explained Quickly
What are TEREA sticks?
Tobacco sticks made exclusively for IQOS ILUMA. A sealed SMARTCORE element heats the tobacco from within at about 350°C, so there is no flame, no ash and nothing to clean. Roughly 14 puffs or six minutes per stick; 20 sticks per pack, 200 per carton. Not compatible with the IQOS 3 DUO or any other blade device. Adults 21+ only.
Why does the same flavour taste different by origin?
They are made for different markets, and we cannot tell you what Philip Morris changes between them — we have no relationship with the company and no specification from them. What we can tell you is what we see stocking all six side by side: a Kazakh Amber is not a Swiss Amber. Japan for refinement and cold menthol, Indonesia for bold value and capsules, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for balance, Switzerland and Italy for smoothness. That is our own read as the retailer, not a manufacturer claim. Every flavour we stock, with its market and price, is on our TEREA flavours page.
SMARTCORE induction in 60 seconds
The device generates an alternating electromagnetic field. A stainless-steel susceptor inside the stick converts that field into heat and warms the tobacco outward at a regulated 350°C. Aerosol and flavour, no ash, no blade, no cleaning cycle.
Read the full ILUMA induction guide →Storing TEREA in UAE heat
The substrate holds glycerin, and heat drives it off: aerosol volume drops and the top notes flatten. The real risk here is a carton left in a parked car, where cabin temperature passes 60°C in July. Keep stock indoors, sealed and out of direct sun. Capsule variants suffer first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything worth knowing before you buy TEREA or ILUMA in the UAE.
Where can adults buy TEREA sticks in Dubai?
TereaStore.ae is an independent retailer serving adults in the UAE. Browse TEREA listings by origin, compare the current prices and availability shown on each product page, and review delivery options before ordering.
Is TereaStore.ae an official IQOS store?
No. TereaStore.ae is an independent online retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Philip Morris International or IQOS. Product origin and current availability are shown on the relevant product and category pages.
How much do TEREA sticks cost in the UAE?
Prices depend on the country of origin: Indonesia 120 AED, Kazakhstan 125 AED, Uzbekistan 125 to 130 AED, Switzerland 160 AED, Italy 200 to 230 AED and Japan 210 AED per carton of 10 packs, which is 200 sticks. That works out at 0.60 to 1.15 AED per stick. Free delivery applies on orders over 299 AED. See the current TEREA price guide for the dated origin-by-origin table and per-stick comparison.
What is the difference between TEREA and HEETS sticks?
TEREA is made exclusively for IQOS ILUMA devices, including the ILUMA i series, and heats by SMARTCORE induction from inside the stick. HEETS is made for older blade-based IQOS devices such as the IQOS 3 and IQOS 3 DUO. The two are not interchangeable, so check which device you own before ordering. Use the TEREA, BLENDS and HEETS compatibility guide to confirm the correct stick for each device family.
Can I get 1 to 2 hour TEREA delivery in Dubai?
Yes. One to two hour delivery covers Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, 6 AM to midnight every day. Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain receive orders within 12 to 24 hours. Cash on delivery is available everywhere and delivery is free over 299 AED.
Which TEREA flavour should a newcomer start with?
Most newcomers start with Amber for a warm medium tobacco, Sienna for a fuller body, or Bronze for deeper toasty notes. The Japanese Regular family, which includes Regular, Balanced Regular, Rich Regular, Smooth Regular and Ruby Regular, also gives a classic tobacco character with no menthol or fruit.
Which IQOS ILUMA devices do you sell?
We stock the current ILUMA i range: i One at 160 AED, i Standard at 260 AED and i Prime at 340 AED, with the Electric Purple editions at 320, 350 and 450 AED. From the original ILUMA line we list the i Prime Remix at 1,100 AED, alongside ILUMA ONE Neon (294 AED), One We (200 AED), ILUMA Neon (578 AED) and PRIME Neon (788 AED). Check each product page for current availability.
Do you accept cash on delivery for TEREA orders?
Yes. Cash on delivery is available in all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Bank transfer and card are also accepted. You never need to enter card details online to place an order.
How does the ILUMA SMARTCORE induction system heat a TEREA stick?
The device creates an alternating electromagnetic field that couples with a stainless-steel susceptor built into the stick. Eddy currents and magnetic hysteresis losses convert that field into heat inside the metal, so the tobacco is warmed from the inside out inside the metal, so the tobacco is heated from inside the stick. There is no heating blade; TEREA is designed for compatible IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices.
Do TEREA sticks work with an IQOS 3 DUO or other blade devices?
No. TEREA has no cavity for a heating blade, so forcing a stick into a blade device such as the IQOS 3 DUO presses the blade against the stick body and can bend or snap it. Blade devices need HEETS instead. TEREA works only with ILUMA and ILUMA i devices.
What is the free delivery threshold at TereaStore.ae?
Delivery is free on every UAE order of 299 AED or more. Orders below 299 AED carry a flat 30 AED delivery charge, which is shown before you confirm the order.
