TEREA vs HEETS in the UAE: Compatibility, Devices and Packs

Quick answer: TEREA and HEETS belong to different IQOS device generations. TEREA is designed for IQOS ILUMA-family devices, while HEETS is used with compatible older blade-based IQOS devices. They are not interchangeable.

After confirming which format you need, return to TereaStore’s device-stick matching centre for current listings.

TEREA vs HEETS compatibility

For all three current stick families, see the TEREA, HEETS and BLENDS compatibility guide.

How the device formats differ

IQOS ILUMA uses induction with the compatible component inside the TEREA stick. Older compatible IQOS devices use an internal heating blade with HEETS. Because the systems are designed differently, using the correct stick family is essential.

Pack and carton quantities

A standard TEREA pack contains 20 sticks, and a standard TEREA carton contains 10 packs, or 200 sticks. Check the exact HEETS listing for its market and quantity rather than assuming every listing is identical.

Which should you buy?

Start with the device model, not the flavour name:

• If the device says IQOS ILUMA or ILUMA i, choose TEREA.
• If it is a compatible older blade-based IQOS model, choose the HEETS listing specified for that device.
• If it is IQOS BONDS, use BLENDS rather than TEREA or HEETS.

TEREA range in the UAE

TereaStore lists TEREA editions from several origin markets. Compare them through the TEREA by country hub, then confirm the live price and stock on the individual product page.

UAE delivery information

For products marked in stock, TereaStore ships within one hour. Normal delivery is 1–2 hours in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman and 12–24 hours in the other emirates, daily from 6 AM to midnight. Delivery is free on orders over 299 AED.

How to identify your device family

Read the model name on the device, original box or supplied manual. Do not identify compatibility from the stick shape or a seller photo alone. If the model name includes ILUMA, choose TEREA. For an older blade-based model, consult its manual for compatible HEETS.

Why interchangeability matters

The stick families are designed around different heating systems. An item fitting into an opening does not make it compatible. Using the listed stick family protects the device from incorrect insertion and avoids purchasing a carton that cannot be used.

Frequently asked questions

No. IQOS ILUMA uses TEREA.

Can I use TEREA in IQOS 3 DUO?

No. TEREA must not be inserted into a blade-based IQOS device.

Are TEREA and HEETS the same size?

Physical similarity does not make the systems compatible. Follow the device-specific stick requirement.

Adults 21+ only. TEREA and HEETS contain nicotine, which is addictive.
