IQOS ILUMA is the bladeless generation of IQOS: instead of a heating blade, it warms a metal element sealed inside TEREA sticks by induction — nothing to clean, nothing to snap. In the UAE the current i-generation runs from 160 AED for the ILUMA i One to 340 AED and above for the i Prime, and every model uses the same TEREA sticks. How ILUMA works — induction, not a blade

The device creates an electromagnetic field inside the chamber. That field heats the SMARTCORE element sealed inside the TEREA stick itself, so the tobacco is warmed from within rather than by a blade pushed through it. One stick runs for roughly 14 puffs or six minutes.

A device that will not charge is usually a charging-contact problem, and a stick that will not heat is usually seated short of the printed line — both are two-minute fixes rather than faults.
